Opticomm Introduces a New Product to its Audio Based Selection of Products: The DMX-800 System San Diego, CA., February 12, 2001 - Opticomm Corp.'s DMX-800 system is one-of-a-kind for AM into IM modulation 2,4,8,16,24 Intercom Multiplexed channels. The Audio is Analog 4.0Khz or FSK analog transmission. The FSK is updated for internal operation from computer to computer. The straight Audio is a private intercom system up to 32 Audio channels multiplexed over 2 fibers. Input is 2 wire twisted pair straight or RJ-45 interface with ST/FC fiber connectors to a remote site. The product is an LED or Laser baseband system with enough budget loss to extend Video transmission up to 30Km in one run fiber with no repeaters. This flexibility allows local area network communication between buildings in the range of 05-30km distance. Main application is CCTV security surveillance internal intercom private voice communication. Applications are intended for the Commercial sector and the Government sector. In the commercial field, the DMX-800 system is used mainly for security surveillance internal intercom private voice communication. Site applications include Airports, Hospitals, Municipal buildings, Universities, high schools, Studios, Video production sites, State traffic department of transportation facilities, Caltrans or similar entities and other many commercial and governmental locations. In the Government sector, the DMX-800 system is used by the Naval Weapons Center, Underwater surface systems, Air Force base installations, Flight simulation, the Johnson control center, Marines and US Army installation for missile deployment. This DMX-800 baseband CCTV system is significantly less expensive than Broadband CATV systems for small volume channel operations. The technology far exceeds comparable AM broadband systems.
