Voice communication is the tool to inter-conference at a low bandwidth of approximately 4.0Khz, not to mention essential for private intercom network systems. Opticomm's Audio Product line serves various applications, including: CCTV networks, pulse tapping and sound wave systems, high bandwith studio systems, Hi-fi stereo sound systems, security network surveillance, traffic analysis (including telemetry wave sensors), signal distribution for local Hi-fi studio production, distance learning among campus classrooms and auditoriums, high pulse sound navigation and audio broadcasting, video matrix switching networks and drop and insert conference surveillance systems.

Opticomm has provided products for the creation of optical transmission systems on various sites, including: airports, hospitals, university and high-school campuses, municipal policing facilities, traffic transportation and many other surveillance network sites. Each site consists of NTSC/PAL/SECAM video cameras with mechanical data Pin/Tilt/Zoom surveillance system security on-line activity between the camera site and the communication controller hub. Many intercom communication systems are connected via a fiber optic multimode or singlemode cable serving assembly factory lines, large manufacture sites, private intercom housing systems, and true studio concert operations. Opticomm provides the line drivers through which the audio transmission signals travel (at the initiating site, the Transmitter, and at the remote controller hub, the Receiver). Opticomm's products are capable of transmitting all types of audio bandwidth signals, each geared to serve the different needs of our customers.

Example: Opticomm DMX-800 is capable of transmitting 4-16 Audio signals from a camera site to a remote site in full duplex operation.
