GENERAL
The Opticomm DIGIBAND® Series DVX-104 is the
first DTV of the DIGIBAND® series. The DVX-104 provides 1 SDI Video and 4 external Audio channels MUX. A Laser based single mode fiber optic transmission system for SDI Serial Digital Video Serial Interface. The system provides studio broadcast quality transmission of uncompressed 10-bit serial digital video ANSI/SMPTE 259M & ITU-RBT.601-2). The system locks to the standard SMPTE rate signal 270Mb/s then processes this signal to minimize jitter & BER. The digital signal offers superior receiver output stability unaffected by optical fiber attenuation, aging, splicing & other degradation. Multiplexing 4 Mono Audio (2 Stereo) AES/EBU Audio channels into one digital stream (per SMPTE 272M).
SYSTEM DESIGN
DIGIBAND® DVX-104 provides uncompressed
universal multimedia digital transport system for ATSC, NTSC, PAL, and other standards. Units are available as Desktop (Stand alone) versions & Rack Mount versions for the 4RU-19" chassis. The CC-12-100 chassis has 12 slots with a single 100W power supply (PSU-100), and up to 10 slots with dual redundant 100W power supplies. The DVX-104 series allows for greater flexibility and future expansion. Both optical and electrical connections are accessed from the rear. The Rack Mount power supply is a regulated switching power supply with short circuit protection, and an input operating voltage of 87-264 VAC.
